    Water Conditions

   May 13, 2008

The Bowl and the Lagoon remain clean, although a touch hazy due to the Spring algae.  For those who have seen the Pennsy lately, I bet you didn't know it said PENNSY SUPPLY on it's side!  Jeff and I scrubbed a bunch to clean the mixer, and as much of the rest of it as we could manage.  It was a tough job but it looks better, and serves as a nice bright white landmark as you navigate the Bowl.  The dozer is in good view too as you can see below:

Saturday, May 10th produced small crowd with three training classes in progress.  I think about five rebreathers were on site as well.

As the Spring temps warm up, be aware of several activities at the dive site: training platforms will be checked for stability, cleaned and adjusted as necessary.  All up-lines from platforms and features will be checked and adjusted as necessary.  We will be sinking a new feature, a blue panel van, in the near future (stay tuned).

Bainbridge has more to offer than most people are aware of.  If your training and equipment configuration are appropriate, come on out and explore the depths, you'll be surprised what you can see!

Vis and temp reports vary depending on the location, depth, day and reporter.

Safe diving
Jim
