3rd Annual UW Christmas Decorating Fundraiser for the OCNA

This event started last year as a friendly competition between dive shops to decorate the best Christmas tree underwater - yet another scuba celebration of the holiday season (akin to the Easter Egg Adventure, UW pumpkin carving, haunted quarry, etc.). The best part of the fun was raising research money for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) in memory of Lorraine D. Mutchler. Join us for the third head-to-head competition between Smokey's Divers Den in Lancaster, PA and York Divers in York, PA, and WELCOME a new participant, D.E.E.P. scuba club. We will locate the trees on the 20' platforms to maximize decorating time and minimize exposure for our wet suit decorators. Calling all dive shops!!! You may join up with one of the two founding shops or bring your own gang, Christmas tree and decorations. Our cause is worthy and our spirit soaring! Help make a difference in the fight against ovarian cancer!!! |

This is a friendly competition. Voting for the best tree will be in the form of donations to the OCNA.

$1.00 = 1 vote This year, votes will be counted in dollars donated per tree. You decide which tree you like the best and make your donation to the OCNA on behalf of that tree. All donations (votes) must be received at BSC by January 31, 2005 Cash and checks payable to OCNA may be dropped at your local dive shop for forwarding to BSC. |
